Charles Epps, I.C.E.

OWNER - PRESIDENT

Our President, Charles Epps, has been a leader in the cleaning industry for over 25 years. With a broad range of experience in operations and management, Charles has the knowledge and skills necessary to address the specialized needs of each of our clients. Charles maintains certifications in carpet cleaning, carpet care, carpet restoration, water damage remediation, and fire and smoke restoration. Training from the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) with an emphasis on COVID-19 prevention and response adds another level of expertise. Whatever situation arises our clients have the assurance that the DeWhit Company President is not only personally available to them, but that he has the knowledge to successfully direct the DeWhit team of employees, supervision, and management to fulfill our clients' best interest.

Our General Manager, Nick Dennis, has more than a decade of experience in management and operations. Nick oversees all business activities and is heavily involved in client relationships, strategic capacity planning, operational policies, and budgeting. Nick oversees the Account Managers of DeWhit to ensure task effectiveness, financial success, and to ensure that client satisfaction is achieved. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family.

Fernanda Duarte

NCSU ACCOUNT MANAGER

Fernanda Duarte has been in Management and commercial cleaning roles for 15 years. She’s trilingual and her goal with Dewhit Facility Services is to assist the Latino population in professional growth and development through employment and training. Fernanda recently received her certification in BioWork thru Wake Technical Community College. Outside of work she enjoys family time and teaching Sunday school at her church.

Antonio Gray

ACCOUNTS MANAGER

CENTRAL NC

Antonio Gray began his career with DeWhit in 2003 and has served in many positions within the company. Today he oversees our Durham and RTP area accounts. Antonio has extensive experience with corporate headquarters, university, public administration, transportation, and technical cleaning operations in high-profile environments. His technical specialties include expertise in floor care, carpet cleaning, clean rooms, high bay, and pandemic response.

NCSU ACCOUNT MANAGER

Eddie McVey has more than 20 years of experience in facilities management. His expertise includes a wide scope of industries and organizations including telecommunications, IT, data centers, pharmaceutical, medical, logistics, technology, the public sector, and higher education. In addition to contract management Eddie's areas of focus are safety management and business development.

Brooke Morton

ACCOUNTS MANAGER

SC UPSTATE

Brooke Morton is the South Carolina Upstate Accounts Manager based in Greenville, SC. Brooke has been in customer service management roles for 10 years. She specializes in positive customer service relationships; meeting client needs and expectations. She has training and certification in Bloodborne Pathogens, Pandemic Cleaning, and CPR. Brooke enjoys fishing, college football, and spending time with family.

Stacy Cox

FINANCE MANAGER

Stacy Cox recently returned to the DeWhit team after a busy season of raising her kids on their way to adulthood and careers of their own. With years of experience and a thorough knowledge of DeWhit's finances, customers, and vendors, Stacy is back to help the company remain fiscally strong by providing steady financial leadership.
DeWhit Dub Karriker
William J. (Dub) Karriker, I.C.E.

CONSULTANT

William J. (Dub) Karriker worked for over 30 years in commercial cleaning management. As General Manager of DeWhit, Dub directed the company in business development, contracts, safety, quality, sales, marketing, training, purchasing, budgeting, planning, and scheduling. Dub retired in 2022 but can't stay away from the office and remains a consultant for the company.

Shimere Riley

ACCOUNT MANAGER

SC LOW COUNTRY

Shimere Riley has worked in customer service for the past 17 years. She has held numerous positions with DeWhit. She now oversees our SC Lowcountry account. She is currently in school working towards her Health and Human Service degree. Her hobbies include fishing and spending time with her kids.

HURRICANE RELIEF

Over the years we've corporately supported organizations like StepUp Durham, Project Build, Urban League of the Upstate, Meals on Wheels, The University of NC at Chapel Hill, North Carolina Central University,  NCCU Athletics, BMW Relay for Life, the American Cancer Society, Mauldin Sports Center, the Greater Durham Black Chamber of Commerce, and United Way African American Leadership.

We've donated pallets of supplies and provided logistical support for people harmed by Hurricanes Matthew,  Harvey, Irma, Maria, Florence, & Michael in partnership with the  Food Bank of Eastern & Central NC.

Our owner is personally dedicated to serving and benefiting the communities where he lives and where DeWhit operates. He is involved in giving financial, personal time, material support and leadership for churches, schools, non-profits, charities, and community service organizations.  He makes the time to serve as a mentor for children, youth, individuals, and families in need of support and assistance.  By his example he encourage the entire DeWhit team to be actively involved in their community through personal giving and acts of service.
